Fraction Energy Services is expanding and actively hiring Mining Applications & Water Transfer Technicians to support operations across mining, oil sands, industrial, and large-scale water management projects throughout Western Canada.
Our teams support:
- Mine water management
- Long-line water transfer systems
- Fluid movement and containment
- Pumping and dewatering operations
- Tailings and pond management support
- Construction and industrial water supply systems
- Temporary pipeline and pumping infrastructure
This is a physically active field position suited for motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, solving problems, and being part of major industrial projects.
Responsibilities
- Install and operate large-scale water transfer systems
- Assist with mine dewatering and fluid management operations
- Set up pumps, generators, manifolds, layflat hose, and containment systems
- Monitor pressures, flow rates, fuel usage, and operational performance
- Troubleshoot and maintain pumping equipment and transfer systems
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance
- Support construction, mining, and industrial operations with fluid handling solutions
- Complete field documentation and communicate operational updates
- Respond to operational changes and emergency situations safely and efficiently
- Work in remote environments and varying weather conditions
Qualifications
- Experience in mining, oilfield, water transfer, dewatering, civil construction, or industrial operations considered an asset
- Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with pumps, generators, loaders, skid steers, excavators, or heavy equipment considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
- Class 1 or 3 license considered a strong asset
- Ability to work long hours and travel to remote job sites
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay: $350.00-$500.00 per day
