About WEWELL
WEWELL is a longevity and wellness studio in Vancouver’s Fairview neighbourhood. We combine fitness, recovery, nutrition, and mental wellness to help clients reduce biological age and live younger for longer. Our team includes physiotherapists, massage therapists, osteopaths, naturopathic doctors, Pilates and yoga teachers — all working under one roof toward a shared model of proactive, integrated health.
About the Role
This is a hands-on training role with a clearly defined path to leadership. You’ll design and deliver personalized, periodized programs for a diverse client base — many of whom are already embedded in our care ecosystem — and collaborate directly with our recovery and health practitioners to deliver unified wellness roadmaps.
We’re not just looking for someone to fill hours. We’re looking for a trainer who wants to grow here — deepen their clinical knowledge, expand their scope, and eventually move into a mentorship or management role as the team scales.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct thorough client assessments covering strength, mobility, posture, and cardiovascular fitness
- Design and deliver personalized training programs grounded in biomechanical and functional principles
- Lead private sessions and small-group classes with an emphasis on form, progression, and long-term health
- Collaborate with our physiotherapists, RMTs, and naturopathic doctors to ensure integrated, consistent care
- Track performance metrics and adjust programming based on client response and progress
- Educate clients on sustainable movement habits that extend well beyond the studio
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of personal training experience
- Experience working with older adults, injury rehabilitation, or special populations
- Certification from CSEP, NSCA, CSCS, ACE, NASM, or equivalent — plus current CPR/First Aid
- Demonstrated ability to design periodized programs across strength, mobility, cardiovascular, and balance domains
- A genuine growth mindset — openness to new research, evolving methodology, and emerging technology
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coach with clarity and empathy
Assets We Appreciate
- Degree in Kinesiology or a related field
- Additional certifications (nutrition coaching, fascial stretch therapy, corrective exercise, etc.)
- Experience within a multidisciplinary or clinical wellness setting
- Comfort with performance tracking software and health technology platforms
What We Offer
- Competitive pay: CA$35–$45/hr based on experience
- Optional ways to earn more: refer or help convert new clients into the studio and earn commission on successful conversions; trainers who show initiative in contributing to better client outcomes — through program development, research integration, or internal frameworks — are appreciated and recognized within the team. This is never a requirement of the role, but it is the kind of initiative that reflects well here.
- Consistent client volume through internal referrals from an established, integrated client base
- Hands-on education — one-on-one mentorship, access to high-level workshops, and ongoing biomechanics and longevity training
- Complimentary access to Pilates, yoga, and strength classes, plus state-of-the-art recovery and training technology
- Scope flexibility — bring your specializations with you; we actively integrate trainer expertise into our programming
- A clear leadership pathway — high-performing trainers are supported into mentorship and management roles with corresponding compensation growth
- Studio scheduling and management supported through Jane App
