POSITION OVERVIEW
For more than 45 years, Goh Ballet Academy has been recognized internationally for excellence in ballet education, artistic development, and performance. Founded on a tradition of discipline, artistry, and innovation, Goh Ballet serves students of all ages and levels while cultivating the next generation of dancers, artists, and leaders.
Reporting to senior leadership, the Marketing, Communications & Brand Specialist will play a central role in promoting the Academy's programs, performances, initiatives, and institutional vision, while ensuring a consistent and compelling brand presence across all platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing, Communications & Brand Development
- Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies to support student recruitment, performances, summer programs, auditions, events, and community initiatives.
- Champion the visual, verbal, and experiential expression of the Goh Ballet brand across all public facing touchpoints.
- Develop and produce engaging content across digital, print, email, website, and social media platforms, translating the artistry and values of Goh Ballet into meaningful stories and experiences.
- Manage and grow the Academy’s social media presence through strategic planning, content creation, photography, video, reels, stories, and audience engagement.
- Design and produce marketing materials including digital advertisements, social media graphics, brochures, presentations, event collateral, and promotional materials.
- Plan, execute, and monitor paid advertising campaigns through Google Ads, Meta Ads, and related digital platforms, tracking performance and optimizing results.
- Develop and distribute newsletters, campaign emails, and promotional communications through Mailchimp and other marketing platforms.
- Maintain and update website content, ensuring information remains accurate, current, accessible, and aligned with organizational priorities.
- Capture and coordinate photography and video content for performances, classes, events, and marketing initiatives.
- Draft press releases, media materials, and communications to support organizational announcements and public relations initiatives.
- Monitor analytics and reporting across marketing channels, using data and insights to strengthen future campaigns and audience engagement.
Event Promotion & Community Engagement
- Promote and support performances, auditions, open houses, special events, and outreach initiatives throughout the year.
- Serve as an on site representative at events, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for participants, families, guests, sponsors, and community partners.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts, advertising partners, community organizations, and strategic collaborators.
- Coordinate reciprocal marketing opportunities, sponsorship activations, and promotional partnerships.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Respond professionally and thoughtfully to inquiries from prospective students and families.
- Support recruitment initiatives, registration campaigns, scholarship programs, demonstrations, and special projects.
- Collaborate with faculty, administrative colleagues, and leadership on seasonal priorities and organizational initiatives.
- Contribute to internal communications, Academy announcements, and organizational reporting as required.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter with a strong marketing background and the organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You bring exceptional communication skills, a passion for the performing arts, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, brand development, content creation, audience engagement, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences and platforms.
- Demonstrated experience managing social media channels, digital marketing campaigns, and content creation initiatives.
- Proficiency with Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, Canva, Microsoft Office, and website content management systems such as WordPress.
- Strong graphic design capabilities with an eye for visual storytelling and brand consistency.
- Experience creating and editing photo and video content for digital marketing purposes.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Professional, polished, and personable with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
- Availability to support evening and weekend performances, events, and special initiatives as required.
Preferred Assets
- Experience within the performing arts, cultural, educational, or nonprofit sectors.
- Knowledge of ballet, dance education, or live performance environments.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, photography, videography, or content production tools.
- Experience working with sponsorships, partnerships, media relations, or community engagement initiatives.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
