Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Dental Office Manager to oversee daily operations within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, supervisory, and communication skills, with a proven track record in dental office management, human resources, and vendor relations. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing multiple responsibilities including scheduling, bookkeeping, event planning, and team supervision to ensure smooth and efficient office functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate team activities
- Oversee schedulling patient calendar management and schedule appointments for patients
- Handle vendor management maintaining professional relationships
- Manage bookkeeping tasks including invoicing, billing, and expense tracking for patients and clinic
- Oversee payroll processing and human resources functions such as onboarding and employee records
- Plan and coordinate company events, meetings, and training sessions
- Maintain filing duties including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette
- Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures
- Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Provide support and training for dental office employees
Experience
- Proven experience in DENTAL office management or administrative roles with dental responsibilities
- Strong background in clerical work, bookkeeping, or dental office management preferred
- Experience with excel tools, and multi-line phone systems preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships, human resources functions, and payroll processes
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written; capable of training & development of staff
- Prior event planning experience is a plus
- knowlege of Tracker office software application is required
