This position operates an excavator (CAT 320) for a variety of functions - having experience in residential is a required asset! The ideal candidate will have:
- experience in service work, soft landscaping, grading driveways and yards and prep work for timber walls and block walls.
- Excellent organizational and leadership with the ability to communicate and report effectively.
- Must have extensive knowledge of lot grading, slab on grade prep, sidewalks
- Must be able to jump in and fill a seat if required
- Recognizes and understands the safe operation of heavy equipment and material handling
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Must be a team player.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
- Committed to working in a safe and efficient manner.
- Successful candidates are required to have personal reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license with a good abstract.
To be considered, applicant MUST have verifiable work experience of 1 year or more and demonstrated a proficiency with residential excavation, knowledge of job site Health Safety and the ability to read and write in English. Please do not apply if you have no working experience with these machines.
