Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a line cook. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle food with care, maintaining proper hygiene and safety protocols
- Assist with food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure continuous operation
Skills
- Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety standards in the food industry
- Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Basic culinary skills with an eagerness to learn new techniques and recipes
Must be available to work from 7am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday
You will be responsible for morning shifts on Saturday and Sunday for our brunch menu, other hours available throughout the week.
