Job Summary:
As an ABA Therapist, you will work with individuals, particularly children, diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy techniques to help clients improve social skills, communication, and behavior management.
This position is an independent contractor position.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients to implement individualized ABA treatment plans
· Utilize positive reinforcement and behavior modification strategies to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment goals
· Maintain detailed records of client progress through data collection, analysis and observation notes
· Provide feedback and support to families on implementing ABA strategies in the home environment
· Stay current on best practices in ABA therapy through ongoing training and professional development
· Work daytime, evenings and weekend hours depending on client needs
Skills and Qualifications:
· A College Diploma or University Degree in a related field
· ABA/Autism related Diploma/Certificate is an asset
· Previous experience working in an ABA clinical setting
· Experience working with early learners, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and behavioural challenges
· Proficiency in data collection and data analysis
· Knowledge of behaviour-analytic terminology and its application to behavioural intervention techniques and individualized behaviour treatment plans
· Ability to work in client homes
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation/access to a vehicle is highly recommended
BCBA Supervision and Mentorship is available to successful candidates.

Job Type: Freelance
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
