Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a passion for providing excellent customer service. This role involves preparing and serving food, maintaining a clean environment, and ensuring safety standards are met. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus, including barista skills and food handling expertise. Duties
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring quality and presentation
- Serve customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Handle food safely, following all health and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Replenish supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations
- Manage cash register transactions accurately (if applicable)
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination or spoilage
- Support team members in various tasks to ensure efficient service delivery
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, food service, or hospitality setting preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Experience with serving, food preparation, or barista duties is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending as needed
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if required
