We are hiring a Purchasing Manager at UBC Group Canada, located in Mississauga, ON. This is a full-time, in-office position.
About the Role
You will be the primary purchasing professional for our company, managing the full procurement cycle — from planning and supplier communication to international inbound logistics.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute purchasing activities based on inventory levels and sales demand
- Source, negotiate with, and manage supplier relationships
- Issue purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely completion of transactions
- Manage inbound international shipping and customs coordination
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively address supply gaps
- Support continuous improvement of purchasing processes and procedures
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
- Post-secondary education or professional training in supply chain, business, or a related field
- Exceptional organizational skills, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Russian language skills are a strong asset
- Experience in the beer, beverage, or food & beverage industry is a strong asset
