Vista Ridge is Fort McMurray’s premier all-season recreation destination. From winter skiing and snowboarding to summer golfing and aerial adventures, we provide year-round fun for our community. We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking General Labourer to join our team permanently to help us maintain, operate, and transition our facilities through every season.
The Role
As a year-round General Labourer, you will be the backbone of our outdoor operations. Your duties will shift with the seasons, offering a dynamic work environment where no two months look exactly the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with seasonal transitions between winter ski operations and summer golf/park operations.
- Perform general maintenance, landscaping, and upkeep of the grounds and facilities.
- Operate basic machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Support various departments with heavy lifting, setup, and teardown of seasonal equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all workplace safety protocols.
Qualifications & Assets
While we are happy to train the right candidate, the following experience is highly valued:
- Snowmaking experience (strong asset for winter operations).
- Ski hill or golf course maintenance experience (strong asset).
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labour in various weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, or rain).
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-player attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the park.
Compensation & Benefits
