Job Summary
The Program & Operations Supervisor at the Saint John Regional Hub plays a vital leadership role in overseeing program delivery and operational functions within the facility. This position involves managing staff, ensuring program effectiveness, and maintaining operational efficiency to support community initiatives. Duties
- Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs to meet organizational objectives.
- Supervise and support staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Oversee daily operations of the hub to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to policies.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
- Coordinate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program reach and impact.
- Prepare reports on program outcomes and operational metrics for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate team meetings and foster a positive work environment focused on continuous improvement.

- Experience: 2+ years of experience in program coordination, youth recreation management, education leadership, or a related supervisory role.
- Hiring/Recruiting Experience: Proven ability to recruit volunteers, network locally, and assist in interviewing staff.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently without daily supervision.
- Transportation (Mandatory): Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have daily access to a reliable, personal vehicle to travel between class venues across Saint John.
- Certifications (Mandatory): Must hold a current, valid First Aid / CPR certification (or be willing to obtain it before the start date).
- Background Check (Mandatory): Employment is strictly contingent upon the successful completion of a clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check.
Pay: $17.00-$30.00 per hour
