Cleaning Subcontractor – Short-Term Rental Properties
Location: Calgary & surrounding area
Pay: Starting at $20/hour, with higher rates available based on experience and responsibilities

We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented cleaners to assist with short-term rental and vacation rental turnovers throughout Calgary.
This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in leaving a property clean and guest-ready, and is looking for flexible cleaning opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Complete short-term rental turnover cleaning
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- Change and prepare bedding
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Clean and sanitize surfaces
- Restock provided guest supplies
- Check the property for cleanliness and presentation before leaving
- Take required completion photos
- Report damages, maintenance concerns or missing items
- Communicate promptly regarding any issues found during a turnover
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently
- Reliable transportation is required, as properties are located throughout Calgary
- Comfortable travelling between different properties
- Able to follow cleaning checklists and instructions
- Basic English communication skills
- Smartphone with access to messaging/photos
- Availability during daytime turnover hours, particularly between guest check-out and check-in
Professional cleaning experience is an asset but not required. We are willing to train reliable candidates who have a good work ethic and attention to detail.
Additional Assets
Preference may be given to candidates who:
- Have previous Airbnb, vacation rental, hotel or residential cleaning experience
- Can identify and report property maintenance issues
- Are comfortable handling simple minor repairs when needed
- Are interested in progressing into a Lead Cleaner role
Compensation
Starting at $20/hour.
Higher compensation is available for experienced cleaners, dependable long-term subcontractors, Lead Cleaners and individuals able to take on additional responsibilities.
