What you'll do
- Leads a centralized team of Project Analysts, strengthening consistency, efficiency, and coordinated service delivery
across Indigenous Relations (IR).
- Ensures analyst support is aligned with regional priorities, Nation engagement, and operational commitments while
maintaining strong regional connections.
- Enables flexible resourcing to balance workloads, address peak in demands, and ensure continuity of service across all
regions.
- Drives standardized processes and continuous improvement to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Builds and supports a high-performing, inclusive team culture focused on development and engagement.
- Connects regional teams and IR leadership to translate strategic direction into coordinated delivery.
- Accountable for the IR governance framework, ensuring effective oversight of policies, procedures, and controls that
protect the department and support sound decision-making.
- Manage centralized intake, prioritization, and assignment of analyst work based on capacity, urgency, and regional needs.
- Ensure consistent support across regions while maintaining strong alignment to regional priorities and relationships.
- Ensure analysts remain connected to their regions through ongoing participation in planning, meetings, and engagement
activities.
- Allocate resources to respond to workload pressures, emerging issues, and coverage requirements.
- Lead the development and refinement of standardized processes, improving efficiency and reducing variation.
- Monitor department workload trends and service outcomes to inform decisions and adjustments.
- Support and develop team members, fostering a positive, inclusive environment and guiding staff through change.
- Collaborate with regional partners and leadership to ensure coordinated, effective delivery.
- Manage and uphold the IR governance framework, including policies, procedures, controls, and compliance, and provide
advice to leadership on risks and improvements.
What you bring
- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or in a related discipline.
