Stillus craft distillery at the heart of Prince Edward County is looking for a bartended to join our team to help us grow our business by becoming an ambassador for our products and a key point of contact with our guests. If you are someone who is skilled at crafting cocktails, used to working in a fast-paced environment, loves connecting with people and is excited about spreading his/her passion for craft spirits, we would love to hear from you!
Job duties:
- Ensuring the assigned station is set up for service prior to the beginning of the shift
- Crafting cocktails
- Giving spirits tastings
- Collaborating with owners to create seasonal cocktails menu
- Educating guests about our products
- Promoting our brand through excellent customer service and showcasing passion for our products
- Bar stocking and inventory management
- Processing payment transactions
- Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring all funds are accounted for at the end of the shift
- Monitor alcohol intake, identify any intoxicated guests and work with management/owners to take appropriate action
- Bar clean up
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Bartending experience (one year minimum)
- Multitasker, able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment
- People person with excellent interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable, knowledgeable, and a self starter
- Vodka, gin and whiskey knowledge is an asset
- A team player, able to work well with others and jump in to help with other duties as required
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
- Smart Serve a must
- Ideally a Prince Edward County resident (we are unable to provide accommodations)
