Job description
We are looking for a _Sales Associate_ to provide excellent customer service with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team.
Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues will make you successful in this role.
Ultimately, if you have a flair for interior design, a keen eye for colour and furniture placement this could be the ideal position for you!
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Greet and direct customers
· Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
· Answer customers’ questions about specific products
· Conduct price and feature comparisons
· Price custom products
· Cross-sell products
· Co-ordinate with the Manager and team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
· Inform customers about discounts and special offers
· Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
· Stay up-to-date with new products
· Follow-Up with customer leads
REQUIREMENTS
· Ideally, but not essential, proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate or similar role
· A good understanding of the retail sales process
· Familiarity with consumer behaviour principles
· Basic math skills
· Understanding sales targets
· Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
· Ability to perform in a fast paced environment
· Flexibility to various shifts
· Good listening technique
· Bilingual is an asset but not essential
· Team player
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
