3rd/4th Year Apprentice & Journeyman Plumbers
Our client is looking for a skilled Apprentice or Journeyman Plumber to join their growing team supporting commercial construction and service projects in the Winnipeg region and surrounding areas. This established mechanical contractor has built a strong reputation over several years by delivering reliable plumbing and HVAC solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are looking to develop their skills across a variety of project types. Positions are available for both in-town and out-of-town work, offering exposure to diverse job sites and responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Install drainage, waste, and vent (DWV) systems
- Complete water supply rough-ins
- Install plumbing fixtures and related components
- Assist with installation of heating and cooling systems
- Diagnose and repair water supply and drainage issues (service roles)
- Install and service hot water tanks
- Perform gas piping and boiler work as required
- Interpret mechanical drawings (Journeyman level)
- Coordinate tasks with project managers and site teams
- Prepare material lists and manage job requirements
- Delegate work and oversee apprentices (Journeyman level)
- Collaborate with general contractors and other trades

Qualifications
- Minimum 3rd-year apprenticeship or Journeyman certification in plumbing
- 2+ years of plumbing experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems and installation practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Gas fitting certification considered an asset
- Experience with service and repair work is an asset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to travel for out-of-town assignments as needed
