Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Residential Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will work as an independent contractor. The individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality home cleaning services to residential properties, apartments, and Airbnb rentals. The services will include standard, deep, move-in/move-out, and post-renovation cleaning. They will work with minimal supervision while providing exceptional service. They will have a passion for cleanliness and an eye for detail, ensuring that each home is left spotless and welcoming. This role requires strong customer service skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage time efficiently while performing various cleaning tasks in residential settings.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and polishing hard and carpeted surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, appliances, fixtures, and high-touch areas
- Empty trash, recycling, and replenish household supplies as needed
- Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring fresh and clean supplies for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences.
- Clean and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the home and units.
- Follow health and safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being friendly, approachable, and responsive to client inquiries.
- Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks within the scheduled timeframe.

What you will need to succeed
- At least 1 year of residential, hospitality, or commercial cleaning experience
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate fluently in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
- A keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
- Time management skills are essential for prioritizing tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Valid driver’s license and clear criminal/vulnerable sector check (required)
- Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks, including standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive motion
Work Environment
- Independent contractor model.
- Cleaners may use their own equipment/supplies or be equipped by Prescare, depending on assignment.
