How You’ll Spend Your Days:
- Designing and overseeing the creation of real-time particle effects and high-impact animated shaders, from concept to game engine integration.
- Conducting advanced experiments with the game engine to anticipate technical and artistic issues before they become critical.
- Coaching senior and intermediate VFX artists while defining the studio's quality standards, pipelines, and best practices
What You Offer:
- A solid understanding of the French language.
- You must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- A minimum of twelve years of experience in a similar role, with recognized visual effects expertise in the game industry.
- Advanced proficiency of Unreal Engine (Niagara) for real-time visual effects as well as strong working knowledge of high-end 3D software (Maya, 3ds Max or Houdini) and simulation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to set standards, coach peers, and influence the discipline’s in-house strategic direction.
