Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities and essential job functions include but not limited to the following:
- Maintaining cleanliness of all public areas inside & outside of the Hotel
- Having a positive attitude, friendly manner and good, clear communication skills with guests and staff
- Having the ability to work efficiently on your own
- Clean and check towels in exercise room daily
- Clean public washrooms by restaurant daily
- Clean staff washrooms/ lunchroom daily
- Polish elevator daily
- Clean public areas, guest floor hallways and lobby
- Dust furniture, chair rails, counters in lobby
- Empty garbage in offices & vacuum
- Clean lobby, mezzanine and patio areas
- Removing all garbage/ recycling from all guest floors, offices and housekeeping areas
- Assist and comply with guest and or management requests in timely manner
- Advise Supervisor of any safety concerns that require immediate attention
- Perform any other duties as needed and required
Qualifications:
- Previous houseman experience an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs
Physical Aspects of position (include but are not limited to):
- constant standing and walking throughout shift
- ability to push up to 100 lbs
Schedule:
- Hours: 11pm - 7.30am
- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Evening shift
- Overnight required
- Weekends required
- Weekdays
Pay: $23.15-$26.46 per hour
