Senior Finance Manager
Our client is a high-growth, globally operating technology company with over two decades of industry leadership and a strong presence across North America and international markets. This is a newly created role born out of internal promotion - a strong signal of a healthy, growing finance function with real career trajectory.
The Senior Manager, Finance reports directly to the Director of Finance and Controller and serves as the number two in the finance leadership structure. This is a high-ownership role covering financial reporting, accounting, tax, and treasury across all global entities.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the senior accounting leader within a global finance function, supporting the Director of Finance and Controller across all reporting and compliance obligations
- Own the consolidation of financial statements across all global entities in accordance with IFRS, including supporting schedules and note disclosures
- Lead and mentor the in-house accounting team while managing relationships with third-party accounting partners supporting international divisions
- Spearhead the organization's SOX compliance initiative - building and maintaining a documented internal control environment and monitoring its ongoing effectiveness
- Continuously assess financial reporting risks and ensure appropriate controls are in place and operating effectively across the business
- Partner with the FP&A team to drive management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance insights
- Manage global tax compliance across all jurisdictions in collaboration with external tax specialists, with a focus on optimization
- Oversee treasury and cash flow management including working capital
- Lead the annual external audit process and maintain productive relationships with external auditors
- Drive ongoing process improvements to reduce close cycle time and improve reporting efficiency
- Optimize accounting systems and reporting infrastructure to support scale
Qualifications:
- CPA designation required
- Strong technical accounting knowledge under IFRS; GAAP familiarity an asset
- Big 4 training with subsequent industry experience strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive financial reporting leadership in a high-growth environment with international operations
- Experience in a public company or SOX-compliant environment preferred
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a finance team
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across functions and present to senior leadership
