About the Role
We are looking for a Controller to join our senior leadership team. This is not a compliance-only role. You will work directly with the President and CEO to shape financial strategy, support acquisitions, and help us make smart decisions as we grow. You will own the full finance function across our campuses and have the opportunity to build systems, improve processes, and contribute at a strategic level.

What You Will Do
- Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls across multiple campuses and operating entities
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior leadership
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Support due diligence, financial modelling, and integration work related to acquisitions
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and financial reporting requirements, including those specific to the private post-secondary sector
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and lenders
- Build and improve finance team processes, tools, and reporting infrastructure
- Provide strategic financial input to support leadership decisions on growth, operations, and investment
What You Bring
- CPA designation (required)
- 5 or more years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 2 years in a Controller or senior finance leadership role
- Experience in the regulated career college, private post-secondary, or broader education sector is a strong asset
- Strong grasp of multi-entity and multi-campus financial management
- Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insight for non-finance leaders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment
- Proficiency with accounting software and financial reporting tools
- High integrity, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
