About the Position
This position is based out of our shop in Didsbury, but it includes both shop work and field service.
You'll work alongside experienced technicians both in the shop and on customer farms, assisting with repairs, maintenance, diagnostics, and major overhauls.
Some weeks you'll spend most of your time in the shop. During harvest or busy seasons, you'll also travel with technicians to support field repairs and emergency service calls.
This position is ideal for someone with mechanical ability who wants to build a long-term career in the agricultural equipment industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians during major repairs.
- Assist technicians both in the shop and during field service calls.
- Clean, inspect, and organize parts for assembly.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs under supervision.
- Operate shop equipment safely.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Help prepare machines for repair and delivery.
- Learn proper repair procedures and shop standards.
- Support the team wherever needed.
