The Patient Care Coordinator will take pride in their work, be neat and professional in appearance, mature, patient, understanding, competent and able to give optimal customer service at all times, while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Main Duties:
- Ensure that office duties and functions are carried out in a confidential, efficient, accurate and timely manner.
- Educate patients in all areas of cosmetic procedures.
- Utilize all aspects of the software provided.
- Competently use all office equipment.
- Reviewing schedules of all Doctors and Skin spa.
- Cover other reception desks PRN.
- Knowledge of all products for sale.
- Educate patients regarding new treatments.
- Booking of all appointments for all doctors and spa.
- Documenting in EMR
- Answering all phone lines and directing calls
- Answering all email inquiries.
- Managing incoming reports and results.
- Processing referrals from other physicians offices
- Reconciliation of daily billing
- OHIP billing input, reconciliation and error report follow up
- All other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, Effort, and Responsibilities
- Advanced interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
- Must have experience in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.
- Good judgment in dealing with confidential data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to deal with ongoing changes and pressures in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with all software programs.
- Knowledge of cosmetic and laser processes.
Working Conditions:
- Standard office setting.
- Sitting for long periods with extensive use of phone and keyboarding
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
