Program Lead-Senior IT Asset Management

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior IT Asset Management Program Lead to design, implement, and continuously improve a mature enterprise IT Asset Management (ITAM) program. This is a senior, governance-focused role responsible for driving ITAM strategy, governance, compliance, vendor management, and lifecycle optimization across hardware, software, contracts, and procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance ITAM governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls
- Lead Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) programs across the full asset lifecycle
- Drive ITAM process improvements, maturity assessments, compliance initiatives, and audit readiness
- Support and optimize ServiceNow ITAM, including HAM, SAM, CMDB, Service Catalog, workflows, and reporting
- Manage software licensing, entitlement reconciliation, renewals, true-ups, and vendor audits
- Oversee vendor contracts, maintenance agreements, subscriptions, KPIs, SLAs, and renewals
- Support procurement activities including RFPs, RFQs, tenders, sole-source documentation, and purchasing strategies
- Develop financial reporting and analysis related to budgeting, forecasting, asset lifecycle costs, TCO, and capital asset management
- Partner with IT, Finance, Procurement, Legal, vendors, and business stakeholders to drive governance and operational excellence
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and improving enterprise ITAM programs
- Strong expertise in HAM, SAM, software licensing, compliance, and audit readiness
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM (HAM, SAM, CMDB, asset lifecycle workflows, reporting)
- Experience developing ITAM governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and controls
- Strong vendor management, procurement, contract negotiation, SLA/KPI management, and renewal experience
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and asset lifecycle management
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL v4, CITAM, CHAMP, CSAM, or other ITAM/SAM certifications
- Public sector, government, municipal, or broader public sector experience
- Experience with SCCM, Intune, WorkspaceONE, IBM Maximo, CMDB, SACM, CSDM, and ITOM
- Experience leading ITAM transformation, governance remediation, or maturity improvement initiatives
Pay: $100,000.00-$115,000.00 per year

Experience:
- IT Asset Management (ITAM), including (HAM) (SAM): 7 years (required)
- designing, implementing, or improving ITAM governance: 3 years (required)
- ServiceNow ITAM, including HAM, SAM, CMDB: 3 years (required)
