The Role:
Triple Star is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Salesperson to join our Freight Brokerage team. As a Senior Salesperson, you will be expected to bring in a book of business and create new business opportunities by nurturing relationships with clients and carriers in the industry.
Requirements:
- Must have a proven track record of success in freight brokerage sales
- Ability to bring in a book of business and meet or exceed sales targets that generate over $400K in GP
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Adept at working independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and clients
- Ensure all shipments are arranged and tracked effectively
- Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional customer service
