Evening ON CALL Cleaner (Light Duty and Heavy Duty)
Location: 150 Bond St. Oshawa ON (Durham Regional Courthouse)
Position: On Call Light or Heavy Duty Cleaner – Evening Shift
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM
- 37.5 hours per week
Rate of Pay:$19.80 per hour
Special Clearance Required and Must Be Available for On Call Shifts
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in assigned areas, including:
- Clean, sweep and mop and replenish supplies in all washrooms
- Empty all waste receptacles and replace liners
- Dusting vents, wiping down stalls and walls,
- Spot clean all glass and walls and reposition of chairs
- Wipe down and disinfect all surfaces, high and low dusting
- Vacuum designated areas
- Clean and polish stainless steel
- Clean all sinks in kitchenettes
- Sweep, mop and vacuum copier rooms on designated dates
- Clean refrigerator and stoves last Friday of the month
- Wipe down all surfaces
- Empty all garbage and wipe down stations in public corridors
- Jury and Jury Assembly room/ Boardroom check everyday
Qualifications
- Ability to maintain assigned areas to high cleanliness standards
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset
- Hard-working, trustworthy, and dependable
- Good attendance and reliability
- Ability to work independently
Pay: Up to $19.80 per hour
Work Location: In person
