Job Summary
RED³ is a forward-thinking architectural firm committed to delivering impactful, sustainable, and design-forward solutions across residential, commercial, and institutional projects. We're expanding our team and seeking a highly motivated, self driven technician or technologist who brings strong technical proficiency, especially in Revit and SketchUp.
Duties
- Support the design and documentation of architectural projects from concept through construction
- Develop detailed models and drawing sets using Revit (BIM)
- Utilize SketchUp for conceptual and schematic design work
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure design intent and technical accuracy
- Participate in client meetings and presentations
- Stay up to date with building codes, accessibility standards, and industry best practices
Requirements
- Certified Diploma as Architectural technician or Architectural Technologist
- Strong proficiency in Revit (BIM modeling, construction documents, detailing)
- Experience with SketchUp for conceptual modeling and presentations
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Enscape, Lumion, or Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
- Experience with rendering tools such as Lumion or D5 is a plus
- Understanding of construction processes and Ontario Building Code
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
