Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled <PERSON> to join our construction team, bringing expertise in various aspects of building and renovation projects. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of tasks that contribute to the successful completion of construction and restoration projects. Your hands-on approach, technical knowledge, and commitment to quality will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new builds to restoration efforts, utilizing your carpentry, concrete finishing, and heavy equipment operation skills.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities
- Construct, install, repair, and restore structures using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment
- Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks with precision to ensure durability and quality
- Operate heavy machinery safely for lifting, excavation, or material transport as required
- Install siding and other exterior building components with attention to detail
- Use woodworking skills for framing, cabinetry, or custom carpentry projects
- Assist with welding tasks to join metal components securely during structural repairs or new construction
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures, ensuring they meet safety standards and aesthetic requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry with a strong understanding of building processes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and finishing procedures
- Experience in siding installation and woodworking projects is highly desirable
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of manual labor
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and quality assurance
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
