Duties
- Perform a variety of skincare treatments including facials, body waxing, and makeup application.
- Provide nail care services such as manicures and pedicures.
- Assist guests at the front desk with check-in, appointment scheduling, and guest services inquiries.
- Conduct product demos and recommend retail products tailored to individual client needs.
- Engage in retail sales through upselling and cross-selling of skincare and beauty products.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all treatment areas, adhering to health regulations.
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client preferences, addressing concerns, and ensuring a relaxing experience.
- Support the team with front desk responsibilities including greeting guests, managing appointments, and handling payments.
- Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and product knowledge to enhance service offerings.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as an aesthetician or skincare specialist.
- Proven experience in providing skincare treatments such as facials, waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for hygiene in a spa or salon environment.
- Ability to promote retail sales through effective upselling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to educate clients about treatments and products.
- Experience working at the front desk or in guest services is preferred.
- A professional appearance with a friendly demeanor that fosters a welcoming atmosphere.
- Flexibility to work scheduled shifts that may include evenings or weekends based on business needs.
