Alison Dawn Voice & Music is looking for a Teacher to lead our Mommy and Me Music Classes for children aged 1-5 years. We need a permanent teacher to teach on Saturdays 9am-11:45am and possibly 1-2 weekday morning classes.
We use Feierabend's First Steps in Music program, and training will be provided. Information about these classes can be found at https://www.alisondawnvoice.com/ecmusicclasses
Early childhood education and/or experience with young children is a requirement, and a background in music is a considerable asset, though not required, as long as the candidate is comfortable singing solo acapella tunefully, and teaching children to keep a steady beat, explore and appreciate music and movement. Proficiency in English is required.
Compensation ranges between $30 and $45 a class and will be set based on the successful applicant's experience and education.
