Job Overview
Hewson Brothers Building Supply is seeking a General Labourer at an entry level position to assist with delivering drywall, insulation, steel studs and acoustic tiles in the Thorold Ontario.
This job requires heavy and repetitive lifting of materials on job sites and working as a team to complete daily schedules.
Job responsibilities will include:
- Safely operate a company vehicle while complying with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Complete daily deliveries and pickups in a safe and timely manner.
- Verify delivery loads, paperwork, and materials before leaving the yard.
- Properly strap, tarp, and secure loads before transport.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the assigned company vehicle.
- Work as a team with the Delivery Assistant or Driver to safely unload building materials at commercial and residential job sites.
- Safely load, unload, carry, and place materials using company-provided equipment.
- Communicate with co-workers, customers, and anyone on the job site to ensure deliveries are completed safely.
- Oversee delivery activities while on-site and ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Provide professional, courteous, and friendly customer service.
- Report any damaged or missing materials, equipment, or delivery discrepancies.
- Assist yard and office staff as required.
- Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:
- G License with clean record (required)
Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour

- Niagara Falls, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Delivery driver: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Class G Licence (required)
