Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Packaging Line Operator to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging machinery, ensuring optimal performance throughout production shifts
- Conduct routine inspections of packaging lines, identifying and troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Set up, adjust, and calibrate equipment such as fanuc-controlled systems, CNC machines, and press brake machines for various packaging tasks
- Perform quality control checks on finished products, verifying specifications and documenting results accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in manufacturing environments
- Assist with loading, unloading, and warehouse management using forklifts or hand tools as needed
- Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on equipment performance and suggesting process enhancements
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating packaging machinery or similar manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in CNC programming, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CAD software is highly desirable
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately for proper setup and troubleshooting
- Skilled in using hand tools, calipers, and basic math for precise measurements and adjustments
- Experience with quality control procedures and inspection techniques within a manufacturing setting
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation certification preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to machinery operation and warehouse procedures
