## Job Overview
Restaurant Manager/Supervisor plays a crucial role in Elise’s success. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing daily operations, curating an exceptional beverage program, and leading our bar team. This role requires a passion for hospitality, a deep understanding of French wines, and expertise in mixology.
## Duties
- Operational Management:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Beverage Program:
- Help develop and maintain an extensive wine list with a focus on French wines.
- Create and update cocktail menus, incorporating seasonal and innovative ingredients.
- Conduct, in conjunction with GM and Hospitality Consultant, regular wine and cocktail tastings for staff and guests.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Foster a welcoming and professional atmosphere for both guests and staff.
- Leadership:
- Lead and motivate the bar team, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Train staff on beverage preparation, presentation, and service standards.
- Inventory and Budget Management:
- Monitor and manage beverage inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Work with the General Manager to develop and adhere to budgetary guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a similar style establishment
- Bilingualism is an asset, however not a requirement.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Conflict resolution abilities.
- Passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
- Good to excellent knowledge of wine (especially French wine) and a strong understanding of mixology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with a focus on team development and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Bilingualism an asset but not a requirement
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
