Field Fuel/Lube Technician

Mid-North Equipment is currently hiring a Field Fuel/Lube Technician to support off-road heavy equipment operations in remote Alberta locations.
This role is ideal for individuals with previous heavy equipment experience who are looking to continue building their careers in the mining and construction industry. It is also a strong opportunity for Heavy Equipment Technician apprentices wanting hands-on field exposure around large off-road equipment.
Successful candidates will operate a fully equipped fuel/lube truck while supporting preventative maintenance and servicing operations on a fleet of heavy equipment.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation
- Overtime paid after 8 hours/day
Compensation & Benefits
- $30- $35/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities
- Fueling and lubricating heavy equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks
- Fluid checks and servicing
- Completing basic inspections
- Maintaining accurate service records
- Supporting field technicians and operations crews
- Keeping work areas clean and organized
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 not required but is an asset)
- Air endorsement is a requirement (training costs provided for the right candidate)
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Previous heavy equipment experience required
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working outdoors in remote environments
- Reliable transportation
- Mining, construction, or oilfield experience considered an asset
