Pay: $35–$45/hour, based on experience, plus a $5/hour Northern Allowance when working in Yellowknife

About the Role
Nextreme Building Systems is building out our carpentry team as we ramp up modular home production and expand into new projects across Yellowknife, NT and Vancouver Island, BC. This is a chance to join a growing crew early, build real skills in modular construction, and grow alongside the company as our project list fills up. There's the opportunity to pick up rotating shifts between our Yellowknife, NT and Vancouver Island, BC operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture modular homes in accordance with plans and quality standards
- Perform general carpentry repairs and maintenance
- Work collaboratively within a small, close-knit production team
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Work across job sites in both Yellowknife, NT and Vancouver Island, BC, with the option to work rotating shifts between locations
Qualifications
- Solid carpentry experience (framing, finishing, and general construction skills)
- Experience with modular or panelized home construction is an asset
- Ability to read blueprints and work from specifications
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a team
- Willingness to work across both Yellowknife and Vancouver Island as needed
- Valid driver's licence
