Duties

- Provide expert advice on horticulture practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and gardening solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts.
- Maintain attractive product displays through effective merchandising strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
- Support inventory management by organizing stock, conducting stock counts, and replenishing shelves as needed.
- Assist customers with online orders and e-commerce inquiries to ensure seamless shopping experiences both in-store and digitally.
- Promote additional products or services such as landscaping consultations or gardening workshops to increase sales revenue.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is highly desirable; enthusiasm for outdoor living, gardening, or horticulture is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic merchandising techniques.
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a valuable asset for serving diverse customer bases.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance, gardening practices, or horticulture enhances your ability to advise customers effectively.
- Organizational skills to manage inventory, keep displays tidy, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
