Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our Family clinic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, and ensuring the smooth operation of medical services. This position requires strong clinical skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to work effectively with patients and team .
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Administer medications and provide patient education regarding medication management.
- Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation and patient management.
- Assist in Health management strategies for patients with acute or chronic conditions.
- Perform minor procedures as directed by supervising physicians.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in research initiatives to enhance patient care practices within the facility.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Experience
- A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical office or hospital setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and acute care practices is essential.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems , will be Trained if no experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are crucial for success in this role.
