About the Role
As a Veterinary Tech Assistant (VTA), you are the heartbeat of our hospital—keeping operations flowing and ensuring our patients and their families feel supported at every moment. You’ll:
- Work side-by-side with veterinarians, RVTs, VAs, and VMRs in both medical and administrative procedures.
- Provide hands-on comfort and care for animals before, during, and after treatment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized hospital environment that reflects our commitment to excellence.
- Support clear and compassionate communication with clients.
As a 24/7 hospital, this role requires flexibility. Team members may be scheduled for a variety of shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
What We're Looking For
- A deep love for animals and a strong interest in veterinary medicine.
- Excellent communication skills and a true team-player spirit.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
- Calm, adaptable energy in fast-paced situations.
- Prior veterinary experience is required.
- Must be available and willing to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, late-night shifts, and participation in an overnight rotation when required.
