Job Summary
The Residential Production Manager is a key leadership role reporting directly to the owner. This person will oversee residential production and be responsible for the full scope of managing job sites, including planning, manpower, scheduling, budgets, safety, quality, and overall project flow. This is a full-time position based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Duties
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and project plans
- Produce schedules and monitor crew attendance
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities
- Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
- Maintain safety precautions and quality standards
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
- Monitor project expenditures and keep jobs within budget
- Resolve issues as they arise
- Report project progress to management and ownership
- Order and organize material shipments
- Learn and follow the Revive sales process for change orders
- Manage customer change orders
- Oversee quality control on projects you are producing
Qualifications
- Construction leadership experience
- Operations management experience
- Sales experience is an asset
Skills and Competencies
- Understanding of painting, staining, spraying, and wall coverings
- Strong communication skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Organized and able to handle paperwork
- Good computer and technology skills
- WHMIS, lift tickets, and other safety certifications are an asset
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Able to lead others and hold team members accountable
- Reliable transportation
- Aptitude in math
- In-depth knowledge of construction workflow and working with other trades
- Great people skills
Compensation
We offer a base salary of $50,000, with a bonus structure bringing total compensation up to $80,000, depending on performance. Employees also receive benefits and join a team that combines a strong work ethic with a practical, family-friendly approach.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional additional hours as required by project demands
