Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and dependable Mechanics and Helpers to join our team. This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on a variety of heavy and industrial equipment, including farm machinery, construction equipment, and automotive systems. Candidates with dealership experience, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with heavy equipment operation are highly preferred. The position offers opportunities for hands-on work with tools and machinery in a dynamic environment, supporting the maintenance and operational efficiency of our fleet and equipment.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm equipment
- Perform repairs on automotive systems, industrial equipment, HVAC units, and electrical components
- Use hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Operate heavy equipment safely during maintenance or repair procedures
- Assist in assembly, disassembly, and installation of mechanical systems
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe work environment
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed
- Support team members with heavy lifting and other manual tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair, industrial machinery, or heavy equipment maintenance
- Dealership experience is a plus
- Familiarity with excavator, crane, forklift operation, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of Caterpillar machinery or similar brands is advantageous
- Skilled in welding, electrical work, HVAC systems, and schematics reading
- Experience working with farm machinery or power tools preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
- Good customer service skills for interacting with clients or team members when necessary
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
