POSITION SUMMARY
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end flow of goods, including receiving, storage, packaging, and shipping.
Working closely with Production, Procurement, and Administration, the role ensures that materials are accurately handled, documented, and shipped on time, while maintaining compliance with internal processes and external requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Shipping & Receiving Operations· Receive and verify incoming goods against documentation · Prepare and ship products to customers and suppliers · Pack products to ensure safe and compliant transportation · Supervise loading and unloading of trucks
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete shipping and customs documentation
- Ensure accuracy of shipping records and traceability
- Maintain compliance with shipping regulations and procedures
Inventory & ERP Management
- Unpack, code, and store materials in appropriate locations
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system
- Ensure real-time updates of movements and transactions
Carrier Coordination
- Coordinate shipments with carriers and logistics providers
- Negotiate shipping rates and select appropriate carriers
- Monitor deliveries and resolve shipping issues
Organization & Efficiency
- Maintain clean and organized storage and shipping areas
- Support efficient material flow within the facility
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Have 3–5 years of experience in shipping/receiving or logistics
- Are highly organized and detail-oriented
- Have good physical capacity for handling materials
- Have experience with ERP systems (asset)
- Have forklift experience (asset)
- Are autonomous and reliable
- Are comfortable working in a production environment
- Are bilingual (French/English)
