Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks related to construction, maintenance, and general labor activities. This role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Skilled Labourer will support project teams by completing assigned duties with precision and professionalism, contributing to the successful completion of projects on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Assist with construction, demolition, and site preparation activities.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment on-site.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately.
- Support team members in various manual tasks as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of tools and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Labourer or in a similar manual labor role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction or industrial work environments.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions diligently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours as required.
- Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with power tools, basic carpentry, or previous experience in construction or maintenance projects.
Pay: $24.00-$40.00 per hour
