We are looking for a reliable, creative, and hardworking Cake Decorator / Bakery Assistant to join our growing storefront team. This role involves assisting with custom cakes, storefront desserts, baking, fillings, and daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is someone passionate about baking and cake decorating, works cleanly and efficiently, has a good eye for detail, and is willing to learn and grow with the business.
Responsibilities
Filling, stacking, crumb coating, and decorating cakes
Working with buttercream and fondant
Baking cake layers and assisting with storefront desserts
Preparing fillings, frostings, mousses, ganaches, and other components
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
Washing dishes, restocking supplies, and assisting with daily prep
Following food safety and hygiene standards
Requirements
Previous cake decorating or bakery experience preferred
Knowledge of buttercream and basic fondant work
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Ability to multitask and work independently
Weekend availability preferred
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
