We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Participate in the assembly and installation of plumbing fixtures and systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects, applying carpentry skills as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
- Develop mechanical knowledge through practical experience and training.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of plumbing principles and practices is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Experience or coursework in carpentry, HVAC, or related fields is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Willingness to learn welding techniques as part of plumbing installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all work performed.
