Award winning and Michelin recommended PiDGiN is hiring line cooks for our kitchen at Time Out Market Vancouver. We opened in May, we're trading above projections, and we're growing the team.
You'll work a high-volume line executing a focused Pan Asian menu under Chef Wesley Young — formerly PiDGiN's Executive Chef during its Michelin Recommended era. This is real volume cooking with real technique: a tight menu done very well, fast. Strong mentorship, clear systems, and a path to grow across both PiDGiN locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prep work, mise en place, and station setup
- Execute stations to PiDGiN's standards at market volume
- Hold quality and consistency during sustained rushes
- Learn and apply Pan Asian techniques
- Maintain food safety and station cleanliness
Requirements:
- 2+ years of kitchen experience (culinary school counts)
- Strong fundamentals — knife skills, speed, organization
- Thrives in high-volume service
- FOODSAFE Level 1 (or willing to obtain before start)
- Team player with positive attitude
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
