Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Valiant TMS, a global industry leader, is looking for a CNC Machinist – Vertical Milling to join our talented Tool & Gage team in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. We are hiring for a swing shift or steady night shift position.

Both challenging and rewarding, this position will require you to collaborate with other skilled machinists and toolmakers to deliver high-quality results for our customers.
- Set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs), including selecting, installing, and adjusting tooling and fixtures.
- Load and secure raw materials and workpieces according to setup specifications and engineering requirements.
- Create, modify, verify, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAM software; adjust machine offsets as required.
- Perform first-piece inspections using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges, to verify setup and program accuracy.
- Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to tooling, feeds, speeds, and offsets to maintain product quality, dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot machining issues, collaborating with supervisors and quality personnel to resolve non-conformances and improve processes.
- Complete production, inspection, and machine performance documentation accurately and on time.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to tooling, feeds, speeds, and offsets.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication while adhering to all safety and quality standards.
- Support prototype, low-volume, and production machining projects while contributing to lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, scrap reduction, and productivity initiatives.
- Experience: 4+ years of machining experience
- Technical Skills:
- Excellent ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Programming knowledge of Mastercam or Lemoine
- Strong safety focus with attention to detail for precise machining

The expected compensation for this position is $28.00 – $32.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skillset, or location.
