Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced PSW to join our team on a casual basis. The ideal candidate will be available for both short, task-focused visits and longer, more involved care sessions. You will provide high-quality, client-centered support, helping our clients with daily activities and ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks.
- Support clients with dementia or memory care needs (an asset).
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with the team.
- Participate as an engaged member of a small, supportive care team.
Qualifications:
- Valid PSW certification and experience in home or community care.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience with dementia/memory care is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Flexibility to take on varying visit lengths, from short tasks to longer sessions.
- Current VSC.
