Job Summary
Wittmann Canada Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fabricating components according to specifications while maintaining high quality standards and safe work practices.
This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a production environment.
Responsibilities
· Assemble small parts for wire assemblies, control panels, junction boxes, and pneumatic systems.
· Perform soldering work as required for assembly projects.
· Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.
· Troubleshoot and test assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
· Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality objectives.
· Follow all company safety procedures and maintain an organized and efficient work area.
· Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements as required.
Qualifications and Skills
· Minimum two (2) years of experience in wire assembly, control panels, junction boxes, pneumatic assembly, and soldering.
· Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
· Hands-on experience with soldering tools and techniques.
· Familiarity with electrical testing tools and equipment.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
· Effective problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Mechanical aptitude and experience working with hand and power tools.
