Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated CAD Technichian for a full-time permenant position. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of sports-related projects using CAD software. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, design, and 2D drafting, with a strong interest in building their skills in CAD drawing development. This paid summer position provides valuable hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, supporting the creation of detailed schematics and models for sports surfaces and accessories.
Duties
- Develop detailed 2D and occasionally 3D CAD models of sports facilities, equipment, and related infrastructure using SketchUp.
- Assist in creating schematics, construction drawings, and technical documentation for various sports projects.
- Contribute to the visualization process by creating 2D animations or renderings of proposed designs.
- Collaborate with team members to review project specifications, ensure adherence to design standards, and incorporate feedback into CAD models.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the design process.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of an architecture, engineering, or drafting program.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
- Experience with schematics, drafting standards, and construction documentation is preferred.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and sport design is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings at a fast pace.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $43,000.00 per year
