We're a small team in Victoria, BC looking for a detail‑oriented Junior QA Analyst, ~20 hours/week to start. You'll be the bridge between our non‑technical staff and our developers — taking plain‑language bug reports and feature requests and turning them into clear technical write‑ups the dev team can act on fast, plus helping us catch issues before they reach users.
What you'll do
- Translate feedback and bug reports from non‑technical staff into clear, structured technical instructions for developers
- Write use cases and acceptance criteria for new features
- Document consistent, step‑by‑step reproduction steps for bugs
- Log and organize issues in our project‑tracking tool (e.g. monday.com)
- Run regular testing on our product to catch problems early
What we're looking for
- A background in Computer Science or a related technical field (degree, diploma, or equivalent hands‑on experience)
- Strong written communication — you can take something vague and make it precise
- A logical, methodical approach to finding and documenting bugs
- Familiarity with issue‑tracking / project management tools (monday.com, Jira, or similar) is a plus
- Located in or near Victoria, BC and able to work in‑office
